Infinite Flight in the Dynamic Island
Keep your flight at the top of the screen while you use other apps. A glance shows your progress; touch and hold for the route, your phase and arrival time.
On iPhones with a Dynamic Island, SkyYoke's Flight Live Activity keeps your Infinite Flight flight at the top of the screen. The compact view shows your departure airport and progress (your ETA once you are arriving soon, a check once landed); touch and hold to expand it into the route, callsign, phase and arrival time; with another activity running it becomes a minimal progress ring.
Three shapes, one flight
- CompactBrand airplane and departure on the left, progress in blue on the right.
- Touch and hold to expandThe full view: DEP · ARR, callsign, phase, the route bar and ETA.
- Arriving soonNear the end, the right side switches to your arrival time in teal.

On an iPhone with a Dynamic Island, the Flight Live Activity keeps your Infinite Flight flight at the top of the screen while you use other apps — Messages, Safari, even the Infinite Flight community forum. It is designed to read as one piece of information across the camera: the airplane and your departure airport on the left, and on the right the number that matters right now.
| When | Right side | Colour |
|---|---|---|
| En route | Progress along the route, e.g. 46% | Blue |
| Arriving soon | Your arrival time, e.g. 10:58 | Teal |
| Paused by AutoPilot+ | A pause symbol | Violet |
| Landed | A check mark — and the left side switches to the arrival airport | Green |
Touch and hold for the full view
Touch and hold the island and it opens into the expanded view: departure and arrival in the top corners, your callsign in the middle with the phase and aircraft beneath it, then the route bar with your aircraft on it and your ETA with the last update time. Everything you would glance at on the Lock Screen, without leaving the app you are in.
Sharing the island
- On its ownYour flight has the whole island: airport on the left, progress on the right.
- Sharing the islandWith a second Live Activity running, your flight moves into its own circle — a progress ring.
iOS decides what goes in the Dynamic Island when more than one Live Activity is running. When another app's activity takes the island, your flight moves to the minimal view — a small circle whose ring fills as the flight progresses, and which shows the state symbol once you have landed or AutoPilot+ has paused the flight. In landscape on iOS 27, where the island has no room to grow, the compact view slims down to the airplane and the ring the same way.

Frequently asked questions
How the Flight Live Activity starts, what it shows and when it ends.
What does the Dynamic Island show for my flight?+
The compact view shows the airplane and your departure airport on the left and your progress on the right. About 30 minutes before arrival the right side becomes your arrival time in teal; once you land it shows a green check and the left side switches to the arrival airport.
How do I see more detail?+
Touch and hold the Dynamic Island. It expands to show departure and arrival airports, your callsign, phase and aircraft, the route progress bar, your ETA and when it last updated.
Why does my flight sometimes show as a small circle?+
When another app's Live Activity is also running, iOS gives the island to one of them and shows the other as a small circle — the minimal view. SkyYoke's circle is a progress ring that fills as you fly.
Why don't I see it in the island while SkyYoke is open?+
iOS hides an app's own Live Activity from the Dynamic Island while that app is in front. Switch to another app, or lock the phone, and your flight is there.
Does it work without a Dynamic Island?+
Yes. Every iPhone on iOS 17.2 or later shows the Flight Live Activity on the Lock Screen; the Dynamic Island views are simply extra on iPhones that have one.
