Live Activity · Lock Screen

An Infinite Flight tracker on your Lock Screen

One glance at your iPhone tells you where your flight is: the phase, the route, how far is left and when you will land — in your airline's colours.

SkyYoke's Lock Screen flight card shows your Infinite Flight flight in three rows: a header (callsign, aircraft, username, phase chip), the route (DEP · ARR, a live progress bar with your aircraft, ALT and GS) and a footer (distance to go, ETA, last update — or Arriving soon / Landed). It follows every phase from Boarding to Landed and is tinted in your airline's colours.

The card, part by part

LOCK SCREEN CARD
  1. Who and whatCallsign, aircraft and your username — and the phase chip on the right.
  2. Where and how farDeparture and arrival, your aircraft on the route bar, altitude and speed.
  3. WhenDistance to go, arrival time and how fresh the data is.
  4. Your airline's coloursThe card is tinted to your airline — hundreds are matched, SkyYoke navy otherwise.

The Lock Screen card is built to be read in the one second you glance at your phone. It has exactly three rows — nothing more, so it never gets cut off — and every row answers one question.

The three rows of the Lock Screen card
RowWhat it shows
HeaderThe airplane mark, your callsign, the aircraft and your Infinite Flight username, and a phase chip. A moon on the chip means you have stepped away from the controls.
RouteDEP and ARR airport codes with the route bar between them. Your aircraft rides the bar; beneath it, ALT in feet and GS in knots.
FooterDIST in nautical miles, ETA and how long ago it updated. It is one slot: Arriving soon, Landed or Paused take its place rather than stacking up.

Your username is the one personal detail on the card, and it is hidden when your iPhone is locked if you have chosen to hide locked data. In StandBy the card fills the screen in your airline's colour, and on iOS 18 and later the same flight appears in the Apple Watch Smart Stack and on CarPlay as a compact route, bar and ETA.

Every phase, at a glance

FLIGHT PHASES
  1. BoardingPlan filed, still on the ground — the bar waits at the start.
  2. ClimbBlue chip; altitude and speed roll up as the aircraft moves.
  3. CruiseLevel at cruise, the aircraft glides along the route.
  4. DescentViolet chip as the flight heads down.
  5. Approach · Arriving soonTeal chip and the Arriving soon pill with your ETA.
  6. LandedA full green bar and “Landed at RCTP”.

The chip in the top-right corner follows your flight from the gate to the runway. Its colour changes with it — blue while you climb and cruise, violet in the descent, teal on the approach and green once you are down — so you can tell where the flight is before you have read a single word.

Wearing your airline's colours

The card is tinted to match the airline you are flying — worked out from your aircraft's livery and your callsign, across hundreds of operators. Every colour set is checked so the white text stays readable against it. Fly a livery SkyYoke does not know, or a non-airline one, and you get the SkyYoke navy card.

Honest about stale data. If an update is late, the card doesn't pretend: the bar dims and the footer shows an amber Updating…. If no update has come for a long while, it tells you to open SkyYoke to resume live updates. A finished card — Landed, for example — never goes stale.

Frequently asked questions

How the Flight Live Activity starts, what it shows and when it ends.

What does the Lock Screen flight card show?+

A header with your callsign, aircraft, Infinite Flight username and phase chip; the route with departure and arrival airports, a progress bar with your aircraft on it, altitude and ground speed; and a footer with distance to go, arrival time and when it last updated.

What phases does it show?+

Boarding, Climb, Cruise, Descent, Approach and Landed, each with its own colour. It can also show Paused when AutoPilot+ holds the flight, and a moon on the chip when you have stepped away from the controls.

Why is my card a different colour?+

The card is tinted to your airline, matched from your livery and callsign across hundreds of operators. An unknown or non-airline livery gets the SkyYoke navy card. Text contrast is checked for every colour set.

Is my username shown on the Lock Screen?+

Your Infinite Flight username appears in the header. It is treated as private: if you have set your iPhone to hide data while locked, it is redacted until you unlock.

Can I see it on Apple Watch or CarPlay?+

On iOS 18 and later, iOS can show the same Live Activity in the Apple Watch Smart Stack and on CarPlay, in a compact layout: the route, the progress bar and your arrival time.
