Getting started

What you need

SkyYoke needs an iPhone on iOS 17.2 or later, Infinite Flight on another device, and both on the same Wi-Fi. Extra requirements for AI Voice and the co-pilot voice.

SkyYoke runs on an iPhone and controls Infinite Flight running on a second device over your local network.

The basics#

ItemRequirement
ControllerAn iPhone running iOS 17.2 or later with SkyYoke installed
SimulatorInfinite Flight running on an iPad or another iPhone, with Infinite Flight Connect turned on
NetworkBoth devices on the same Wi-Fi network, or the simulator device joined to the iPhone's Personal Hotspot
PermissionLocal Network access for SkyYoke, so it can find Infinite Flight
OrientationSkyYoke runs in landscape only

iOS asks to let SkyYoke find devices on your local network: tap Allow

SkyYoke does not run Infinite Flight itself. The iPhone is the controller and the other device is the screen, so you need two devices.

Optional extras#

FeatureExtra requirement
AI Voice CommanderiOS 26, an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence with it turned on, SkyYoke Pro, and microphone and speech recognition permission
Realistic co-pilot voiceSkyYoke Pro, signed in, and about 750 MB free for a one-time 325 MB download
Game controllersAn Xbox, PlayStation DualSense, Backbone or other MFi controller paired with the iPhone
Managed modes, Auto-Trim, Violation AvoidanceAn Airbus or Boeing aircraft in Infinite Flight
Auto TaxiA major airport with taxiway data

A good network#

SkyYoke sends control inputs many times a second, so the network matters more than the phone. A modern Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6 router, no VPN, and staying close to the router give the smoothest response. The built-in connection check-up measures this for you.

Microsoft Flight Simulator#

Support for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is in development and shown as Coming soon in the app. See Microsoft Flight Simulator.
